ABOUT PERRI
Perri Sun, LCSW #85605 is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Los Angeles, CA. Perri’s clinical training began when she received her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California with a specialization in mental health. She has extensive experience working with individuals, groups, children, teens, and families in a variety of settings. Perri’s postgraduate training included three years at The Maple Counseling Center in both the Adolescent and Child Program, and in the Adult Program before going into private practice.
Additionally, Perri has received extensive training in grief and loss at Our House Grief Support Center, and enjoys helping people navigate the difficult emotional symptoms that grief and loss bring about.
Perri’s treatment orientation is primarily psychodynamic, however through the combination of a Social Work education and postgraduate training, her treatment approach is always client centered and often attachment based, incorporating cognitive behavioral tools, mindfulness techniques, and various others modalities depending on what works best for the client.
“As a psychotherapist, my aim is to create a warm, interactive, and supportive environment where clients feel truly seen and heard. I work collaboratively to help individuals deepen their self-awareness, break free from limiting patterns, and build healthier, more fulfilling ways of thinking and living. Through thoughtful engagement and a personalized approach, I strive to empower each client to better understand themselves and move toward lasting emotional growth and well-being.” - Perri Sun
